Chris Daughtry

Elliott Yamien, Katharine McPhee, Taylor Hicks, Danny Gokey, Ace Young. The names were written instinctively without the need to 'google' as these singers belonged to American Idol Season 5, my most memorable AI season ever. But only one name did create such a huge impact on me since I saw him auditioning—Chris Daughtry.

Jennifer Lopez

It wasn't until her recent stint as an American Idol judge that my attention was brought back to JLo. I can never deny how often I used to listen to her album 'This Is Me.. Then' way back in 2003. Almost all of the songs in the album were mellow—far from the usual upbeat tunes from which she became known for.

Georges "RUSH" St. Pierre

Georges "Rush" St. Pierre is UFC's welterweight champion, named the 2011  Fighter of the Year, Canadian Athlete of the Year, and Most Outstanding Fighter among other recognitions. Given numerous awards, he never fails to inspire people to pursue things worth achieving — DREAMS. 

Mikey Bustos

First it was Tiffany Eugenio, now it's Mikey Bustos. Though both grew up in Canada, they make Filipinos proud by making us realize that our talent and humor are quite amazing. Mikey started out as a competitor in Canadian Idol; he's now better known as the guy behind those videos that are gaining much attention nowadays.
